Position: Telephony Technician

Primary Job Duties: Configuration, project management, installation and maintenance of all telephony network components.

Required Experience and Education:

·         Basic computer networking knowledge

·         Must demonstrate ability to explain and evaluate current and past telephony trends

·         Excellent knowledge of structured cabling methodology and execution – ability to tone test and terminate data cables

·         VoIP implementation experience

Preferred Experience and Education:

·         Minimum of 2 years experience installing and servicing telephony products

·         Minimum 2 years of college and/or vocational school

·         Proof of telephony-related certifications

·         Industry/product planned certification track

·         Previously led at least 2 successful multi-site telephony installations

·         Wireless networking knowledge

·         Ethernet, router, & switch configuration

·         BICSI certification, CTI certification

·         Video Surveillance familiarity

Wages: Negotiable, commensurate to experience
